With views of Edinburgh Castle, a private salon cocktail bar and exquisite hand-painted wall panels – The Pompadour by Galvin offers a world-class culinary experience.

Brothers Chris and Jeff Galvin are two of Britain’s most influential chefs. With over 50 years experience between them, they have worked in some of London’s most revered kitchens, cooking for royalty, nobility, celebrities and film stars. In 2005 they opened their first restaurant, Bistrot de Luxe on London’s Baker Street, and here they began to cook for their favourite guest…you.

They have been applauded by peers and critics alike – not only for having immense talent - but also for being probably the nicest guys you could ever meet. They are never more at home than when behind the stoves of their popular and award-winning restaurants – which have garnered Michelin stars, AA rosettes and over 30 top accolades.

Many of their dishes are influenced by their culinary upbringing in French cuisine and demonstrate the good taste and thoughtfulness of the brothers - their generosity of giving and their respect for ingredients. What they look for first and foremost is quality and luxury in simplicity.



Opening Hours

We are open for dinner Tuesday to Saturday.

In 2015 we will no longer open for dinner on a Tuesday evening.
